When this job came into the shop the unit would no longer run.
We found that the windings had burnt up and that the mechanical parts of the single phase rotor were all seized up. This required a full dismantle of the rotor assembly and end frames of the motor.
We made new coils.
Installed the coils and died & baked the stator housing.
Installed new wicking in the newly machined oil rabbit bearings.
And in the end we gave the entire unit a high gloss clear coat after assembly to protect the restored finish.
